In June 2019, we announced plans for a transformational project that will help shape the future for the City of Raleigh and enhance the profile of our downtown area.
This game-changing development will sit on the southern edge of Downtown Raleigh on approximately 160 acres at the intersection of South Saunders Street, South Wilmington Street, and Interstate 40.
Our focus is on creating a development that reflects the vibrant, growing city of Raleigh, and that offers a place for neighbors and visitors to work, live, and play.
The next steps for us are to rezone the property with plans to break ground in 2020. As each phase of this project progresses, we will update this site with relevant news and materials. In the meantime, please join our mailing list.
Members of the Downtown South team conducted a public virtual neighborhood meeting on Monday, October 5th with property-owners within 1,000 feet of the project site, which is mandated by the City of Raleigh.
This meeting included a presentation on the zoning request and zoning process, a presentation on the vision of the project and a Q&A session.
